The show, which features live video feeds of law enforcement on the job while host Dan Abrams and analyst Tom Morris Jr. provide commentary. The show featured VCSO deputies during the episodes on March 6, 7, 13 and 14.
Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood tweeted about the show. "Perfect opportunity for the whole country to see the outstanding deputies we have in Volusia County," Chitwood said.
A&E's website describes the program as providing "unfettered and unfiltered access inside the country's busiest police forces and the communities they patrol in the documentary series Live PD." Although many have said it was an "off night" due to the lack of "interesting police work," it is believed that the VCSO will be on Live PD again in the near future.
